The New Product Badge extension installs just like any other wordpress plugin. Simply upload the zip file through your administration section and activate the plugin. Once activated, go to your WooCommerce->Settings area and click on the Inventory tab. You will the available options listed at the bottom of that page.
Setting the plugin is easy. The default provided upon activation will place the default ‘New’ badge in the upper left hand corner of your product images. And, it will display for 7 days after the product is published. You can change all of these setting by simply modifying or adding your own values to the available options.
The easiest way to add your own custom badge is to upload a new image through the built-in WordPress Media functionality. Once you have uploaded the image, simply copy the path to the image, go back to WooCommerce->Settings->Inventory and paste the path in the available box. Once you click ‘Save Changes’ button, your new badge will be visible on your new products.
