Jigoshop Inventory Notices Extension
The Inventory Notices Jigoshop Extension from 61Extensions.com will let your customers see, at a glance, your inventory status! With a quick glance at your shop pages, they will be able to immediately see which items are running low or out of stock, and if they’re running low they’ll know they need to act fast to get their products. With easy administration, you can use the default images (provided with the plugin), or upload your own custom images. You can individually set the positioning of the images.
Installation
The Inventory Notice extension installs just like any other wordpress plugin. Simply upload the zip file through your
administration section and activate the plugin. Once activated, go to your Jigoshop->Settings area and click on the Products and Inventory tab. You will the available options listed at the bottom of that page.
Setup
Setting up the plugin is easy. The defaults provided upon activation will place the default low stock and out of stock images in the upper left hand corner of your product images. And, it will display the low stock image if your stock is at or below 2. You can change all of these setting by simply modifying or adding your own values to the available options. The easiest way to add your own custom images is to upload a new image through the built-in WordPress Media functionality. Once you have uploaded the image, simply copy the path to the image, go back to Jigoshop->Settings->Products and Inventory and paste the path in the available box. Once you click ‘Save Changes’ button, your low stock and out of stock images will be displayed on the appropriate products.
